The Illusion of Being Better

Every time we tell ourselves we need to make ourselves ‘ ‘better’ we are simultaneously telling ourselves that something is wrong with us. This continues to perpetuate a belief held by the mind that if we only do or be this, (insert anything), that it will finally resolve our discomfort and suffering. Yet it never does. Until we are willing to see all the ways in which we are attempting to release ourselves from the grip of a mistakenly held core belief that we are somehow broken, (from which itself manifests our suffering), we will remain committed to a belief that veils itself as freedom but has committed us to absolute bondage.
